Seniors in our community deserve dignity, respect, and the resources to age comfortably. As the population of older adults in the Inland Empire continues to grow, Congresswoman Torres is dedicated to ensuring that seniors have access to the healthcare, retirement security, and support services they need. On the Appropriations Committee, she has fought to protect Social Security and Medicare, ensuring these vital programs remain strong for current and future generations, and voted to lower the cost of prescription drugs, so seniors no longer have to choose between medication and other necessities.

Beyond healthcare, Congresswoman Torres is working to make sure seniors can live independently and remain connected to their communities. She secured federal funding for the City of Ontario’s Active Seniors on the Go program, expanding transportation options and mobile nutrition services for seniors. By supporting these initiatives, Congresswoman Torres is committed to enhancing the quality of life for seniors across our communities, ensuring that they have the security and resources to thrive."
