Supporting the Leaders of Tomorrow

Our students are the leaders of tomorrow, and Congresswoman Torres is working in Congress to ensure they have the tools they need to succeed from preschool to college. She recognizes that success in school depends on access to food, housing, and support to allow students to solely focus on their education. That’s why she introduced the BASIC Act in Congress to fund the basic needs of our local college students and delivered millions in COVID-19 relief funding for school districts, colleges, and universities.

The scientists, teachers, lawyers, business leaders, and professionals of tomorrow are right here in our community. Congresswoman Torres is committed to breaking down the barriers to access that prevent our students from achieving their full potential.
