Transportation
Connecting communities fosters vibrant neighborhoods.
With average commute times in the Inland Empire averaging nearly twice the national average, addressing our transportation challenges has never been more urgent. Congresswoman Torres is committed to connecting our communities and creating high-quality, good-paying jobs through reliable transportation infrastructure. That’s why she voted for the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law which is investing billions of dollars into the Inland Empire’s infrastructure, creating safe routes to school for students, improving our communities’ roads and highways, and bringing high-speed rail from Rancho Cucamonga to Las Vegas.
These investments are not only about reducing traffic and improving safety but also about sustainability and economic growth. By expanding public transit options, upgrading bridges and tunnels, and investing in green technologies like electric vehicle infrastructure, Congresswoman Torres is working to build a transportation system that meets the needs of today while preparing for the future.
